Shadow Dancer MRF

The first foal, a grey colt, of the ethereal grey mare Sri McCoy B, a granddaughter of Gai Argosy is nothing short of spectacular. Shadow Dancer MRF is an incredible mover a trait he earns from both his dam and his sire, TWS McDreamy (CA Macs Sunrise x Al-Marah Fox Sparrow).

Shadow Dancer’s dam, Sri McCoy B, was unshown due to an injury as a foal. Her sire TWS Gai Phoenix, one of the only sons of Gai Argosy to stand at stud. TWS Gai Phoenix was lightly shown and is a Class A winner in Sport Horse In-Hand, as well as halter, winning the coveted most classic head twice. Like his sire, TWS Gai Phoenix produced a small, but exceptional number of foals during his lifetime. TWS Raiden, a regional winner in halter; TWS Kami-Kaze, a National winner in Sport Horse In-Hand and class; TWS Gai Vishnu, a two time National winner in Sport Horse In-Hand; Forever Xanthus, a National winner in Sport Horse In-Hand, and Class A winner in Sport Horse In-Hand and halter; TWS Gai Zephyros, a Class A winner in halter; TWS O Persephone, a National winner in Sport Horse In-Hand; (TWS Electra Phy, shown locally). Of his 7 offspring that have been shown, approximately 60% have earned National Top 10s.

Sri McCoy B’s dam HJH Surreal McCoy is a mare with thoughtfully orchestrated pedigree with numerous lines to The Real McCoy. HJH Surreal McCoy B produced five offspring. Brown Sugar Bourbon (by Payback Typhoon), the only foal shown to date, is a three-time National winner in Ranch Horse Rail and English Trail, and a Scottsdale Show Reserve Champion in Western Trail and Top 10 in Hunter Hack, Western Trail, English Trail, and Ranch Horse Rail.

TWS McDreamy by CA Macs Sunrise and out of Al-Marah Fox Sparrow is an athletic and classically Arabian stallion. He is a wonderful example of crossing a tightly line-bred pedigree onto one that is largely unrelated.  Resulting in a breeding stallion that with just five foals on the ground and two shown has had remarkable results.

McNificent B, out of Abla-Al-Bella a maternal sister to HJH Surreal McCoy, is the oldest and most extensively shown of TWS McDreamy’s offspring.  McNificent B is a National winner in Sport Horse In-Hand and a two time regional champion in Sport Horse In-Hand.  Izabella B, out of Abla-Al-Bella, is the 2020 National Champion Sport Horse In-Hand 2-Year-Old Filly, and a Regional Reserve Champion in Sport Horse In-Hand. 100% of TWS McDreamy’s foals who have been shown to-date are successful at both the regional and national level in sport horse divisions.

            Shadow Dancer MRF blends these two exceptional families with a twist, he adds the lines carried by TWS Gai Phoenix into the mix. By blood Shadow Dancer is a 5/8 sibling to McNificent B and Izabella B. With his energetic personality and exceptional movement Shadow Dancer MRF is sure to follow in his siblings footsteps.
